Ciara is nothing, I mean nothing like Aaliyah. There both great singers but I don't think anyone can be like Aaliyah. Aaliyah was a down to earth female r&b artist that had looks, and potential. She kept things real, and positive. She had her tomboy years, and then grew up into an beautyful younglady. She always was an younglady. A wonderful actress too. She is the type that is herself and know one can be like her. I don't really see Ciara making it big like Aaliyah did, but, I'm not going to say anything bad about Ciara. She is very talented and pretty but nothing like Aaliyah.

Ciara can't hold a match to Aaliyah! No matter how many voice synthesizers there are. Aaliyah had pure and natural talent to sing and dance. A beauty of a talent that Ciara can't come close to.

there is no comparison. aaliyah was a soulful singer whose songs weren't dance songs. ciara mostly makes dance songs that are no where near the level aaliyah was on.

every1 is comparing ciara to aaliyah they both have them low breathy voices im a fan of both of them i have all of their cds but to be honest with u i dont think either 1 of them can really sing i heard aaliyah perform on spring break on mtv & she sounded a mess & ciara really doesnt sing live shie does more dancing alot like janet jackson another talentless person

i hate comparing ppl. but Ciara is very reminiscent of Aaliyah..who i absolutely LOVE...they share like qualities..tomboys, love for dance, gorgoeus model-like qualities but not full of themselves like other r&b divas...their videos are actually entertaining & not full of unnecessary contents like the self-indulgent boyfriend in evry video..she hates the comparison by the way but its well deserved everyone LOVED Aaliyah....Ciara is exceptional...hope she doesnt change!!!
