ALL TOLD:$220 BILLION (1968)DOLLARS. THE FASCISTS CONTROL OF THIS GOVERNMENT IS DEPLETING OUR RESOURCES AT THE RATE OF $10 MILLION DOLLARS/DAY IN IRAQ. WHY HAVEN'T WE SEEN OUR "OIL DEPENDENCE", NOT DEMOCRACY, IS THE REASON WE ARE IN IRAQ? WE NOW(SINCE 1863) LIVE UNDER A GOVERNMENT OF THE (CORPORATE) PEOPLE, BY THE (CORPORATE LOBBY)PEOPLE, FOR THE (CONTROLLING CORPORATE RICH) PEOPLE. AS SUCH, THE MILITARY HAS BECOME AN ENFORCER OF THE ELITE BUSINESS INTERESTS OF THIS COUNTRY. WE NEED TO BREAK OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOSSIL FUELS, THUS BREAKING OUR SHAMEFUL DEPENDENCE ON THE OIL COMPANIES AND THEIR NEED TO DRAG US INTO WARS TO SECURE THEIR PROFITS. DURING THE PAST 143 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN DUPED INTO BELIEVING WE STILL LIVE IN A DEMOCRACY. EVERY WAR WE HAVE FOUGHT HAS BEEN FOR ECONOMIC REASONS. POLITICAL IDEOLOGY? DOLLARS!

Oh, so was WW 2 fought to gain Germany’s vast supply of bratwurst? Or was the Korean War fought to gain Korea’s vast reserves of rice? No, as hard as this may seem for you to believe, sometimes when someone has enough courage they will take a stand against evil. Yes, those select few who are given balls or brains tend to use them in such a way that you would expect them to be used. The man with balls would be willing to stand-up for democracy in the face of tyranny, even when out numbered or outgunned. The man with brains would realize that a certain course of action might cost billions of dollars, but some things, i.e. Liberty, innocent lives, the god given right to not be in fear of being beheaded by a terrorist, are so important you can’t put a price tag on it. Another interesting thing about brains or balls is those people lacking in them are the ones wasting their energy complaining about everyone else’s actions.

Dude...every single war throughout history has been fought for economic/political reasons....they just use a "righteous" campaign to get the masses to fight. There's still ppl with idealistic views on war and why we fight...they believe its to preserve our way of life. And in all honesty it is.....we r over in Iraq to instill democracy. Y? B/C we have to deal with them on an economic bases for oil...so we want to make sure they r playing by our rules of economics and fair trade. Hence, the war....have u been to Europe? Their prices are way more outta control than ours....Y? b/c we as the USA are funding the war and have more troops over there than the European countries. We have a strong hold on their gov. by military force in order to keep the prices down as much as possible. *shrug* but in order to keep our strong hold and force them into democracy we have to raise the prices a little bit so the oil companies make buko bucks....b/c where do u think the money is coming from? From the oil companies to support the war. If we pull out then our prices will rise.........
LOL....it sounds good....but in all reality we get most or our oil from S. America. LOL....just wante to play devils advocate.

Yeah ! I just saw a reprter who lived in Iraq just prior to , during & after our " war of liberation". She said the Sunni & Shia got along side by side with NO PROBLEMS before our imposition of democracy.. She lived amongst them. The good old US of A destabilized their government, fired the army & police & politicians against good advice ( another CIA failiure). No wonder there is now a civil war.
