Maybe a century or a couple of centuries ago, it was actually possible to "make sure" you won the lottery. This was because there weren't all these mathmaticians working on making sure it wasn't possible. Back then, all you had to do was buy one ticket for every possible combination of numbers. If every ticket cost $1, then the price would, naturally, be extremely high. However, the amount of money in the jackpot was usually higher than the cost of buying all those tickets. Thus, one of the tickets must have had the winning combination, and you would still get a profit. However, nowadays, the people at lotteries have changed it so that the cost of buying all the tickets with all the combinations is much greater than the amount of money you would win if you won. So, really, nowadays, you can't win the jackpot unless you have amazing luck.

Which one? The money one or the life one? If it is the money one you have to buy a ticket. If it is the life one, you have to leave your house and get involved. Winning isn't everything, it is the willingness to play and the hope that you could succeed which will give you an inner need to become a part of this life that we live. So, I suggest you continue to play, how do you win, it is a lottery, that means it revolves around chance. The numbers that won last week could come up again this week as everything is random and that means that every number has an equal chance of being drawn as any other number. It is luck. Are there lottery gods out there controlling everything, who knows. Does God control everything, no, since He gave us a free will he took Himself out of the question. If you buy a ticket then your chances are greater of winning than the guy who did not win, but that does not guarantee you of a win. Good chance instead of good luck, I am keeping that for myself.

The best ways to win the lottery:
1. Be someone who sells tickets. You get a cut of the winnings.
2. Be the company that runs the lottery. They get bucks beaucoup for running the lottery.

That's it. Here in California, for someone to win the big prize, there have to be about fourteen million losers.

Buy a winning ticket.

In a fair lottery, it is all about probability, and the chances of winning big are *very small*.

To have any chance of winning, you must play. Since the number picking is random, there is no way to choose the winning numbers beforehand, despite all "infallible" methods of winning the lottery floating around.

You'd make more money if you just invested it instead of buying the tickets.
