online games at yahoo! or king.com are fun.
crocheting
needlepoint
painting
drawing
sculpture
cooking - my favorite hobby. trying new dishes and watching food network have become a staple for the whole house here.
walking
exercise
pets - my other favorite hobby, a dozen fish in a really nice tank. Very relaxing to watch them swim about.
and perhaps writing a book instead of reading a book. I've started a few mini-novels, but not completed anything of value. but it's a way to step out of myself and relax a while.
These are just the first things that came to mind for me.
Good luck finding a new hobby :)

How about arts and crafts? Pay a visit to a hobby store (Hobby Lobby, MJ Designs, etc.) Look around and see if anything floats your boat.

Learn a new operating system. Once you master it you can share your knowledge with family and friends. It only requires your time and a little dedication. Try UBUNTU first it's easy to use and install. It and the programs are free. You can also run it from a CD.

Stamp collecting doesn't take up a lot of your time, maybe a few hours a week. A good, well organized stamp collection is fun to look at.

How about needlework, recipe collecting, or photography?
Digital cameras are reasonably priced now, and there's lots of free software to use with your photos.
It's about time to start planning a garden and germinating seeds - you could start with herbs, vegetables or flowers.
