GWB stirred up the hornet's nest by not doing his homework, not reading history , not listening to ALL intelligence reports, & now our soldiers DIE to fix his screw ups. Also of all Dubya's pals only Rumsfeld had any semblance of GENUINE military duty.

I absolutely feel safer. There have not been any new terror attacks on American soil. Why is this? Because they are tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan. These crazy fanatics are coming out of the woodwork. I say good, let's get them out in the open, as opposed to having them simmer unseen until such a time as they can attack. The United States is not creating terrorists, fanatical upbringing and disenchantment is creating terrorists. How many people in this country hate the government and it's actions? How many of those people are strapping bombs to themselves and blowing up innocents? Make all the excuses for terrorism you want, but no one ever said this fight was going to be easy. We turned a blind eye to terrorism for 30 years in this country. We attempted to appease everyone in the world at every turn. What did it get us? An end to terrorism? No, it awarded us an escalating pattern of violence in the world. Bury your head in the sand if you like. Tell yourself it's all America's fault if you must. Just understand that the vast majority of us are not willing to follow failed policies anymore. We have tried it your way, and history proved that we were wishful fools as a result. The time has come for action, support it or not, it doesn't matter, but the day has come whether you like it or not. The only way to end terrorism is to foster freedom in the world. There is a reason why free countries do not engage in wars with each other. As freedom grows so does quality of life, and tolerance. In short, give people something to live and hope for, and they are less inclined to choose death. sslpatt: What facts? An article citing a classified document, and undisclosed sources? From a news agency which has proven that it is more than willing to embarass the administration in any way possible, and isn't above leaking classified information. Personally, I didn't dispute anything the article said. If you want to talk about reasoning ability, try giving us some rather than trying to discredit others for opinions you don't agree with.

DEFINATELY NOT!!!!

I think its only a matter of time before USA sees a REAL terror attack because I doubt September 11 was caused by any muslims to be honest.. and muslims know this..

I mean didnt the owner of the towers state that he "pulled tower 7" he must've have had it pre-rigged with explosives!! its the only scientific way to pull a building so soon after the twin towers collapsed!! and what did hit the pentagon?? sure as hell wasnt a boeing 747!!!

THEREFORE September 11.. didnt happen as was stated.. the facts suggest it was set up by Bush to use as a reason to attack Iraq.. and the same logic is now being employed to go into Iran.. sadly for USA the world is onto you now.. no more lies!!

This war on terror.. is just a joke aimed at blinding the world of the facts.. and turning them against your personal economic enemy.. and islam is nothing but an economic foe to american domination.. sadly I think USA can either bow out with what little dignity has has left.. OR sure.. start another illegal bogus war.. and face the consequence of being wiped out!! along with Israel..

This is what I think will happen if USA dares invade or attack Iran.. and China wont stand for it either..

dude Bush didnt begin the war on terrorism that began the second we were ATTACKED on 9/11 that therefore gives us the right to stirke back but that does not merit going to iraq which i do not support and i believe the second we went into iraq we became musch less safer and our world opinion dropped rapidly and bush screwed us

no i think it is more dangerous. definetly good that saddam is gone but i think they should have gone after bin laden first before going after saddam. i just don't understand while they are still in iraq when they should be concentrating on other things. i believe if something tragic did happen here we would not be able to protect our own country. our military is stretched too thin.

If we had a time machine or an alternative universe to study than we could answer this question.

Since neither is available, this question is not answerable.
