What would happen if a person was put into a black hole, besides them not being able to escape?

The person dies, mangled beyond recognition, due to tidal forces. Eventually, the remains will be desintegrated and compressed into the black hole's nucleus.

Well if you were viewing the person going into the black hole it would seem as if they are being slowly ripped apart and "stretch to an almost infinite thin form or shape.

If you were the person going into the hole you would not feel or see this effect at all

There is also the theory that all black holes because of their effect and shape and design are interconnected with other black holes and that all the black holes in effect create a infinite loop of all atoms and particles in the universe and as such create multiple dimensions of the same universe which leads to the conclusions that even if you do enter a black hole that you will eventually reach the same state in which you were before you entered the black hole in the first place.

Well, a normal size (10 solar mass) black hole will rip to to shreds before you hit the singularity. But one of them multi-million solar mass black holes, like the monster that lurks in the heart of our Milky Way? Tidal forces are not strong enough to rip you apart, and you may be able to navigate around the singularity once you are inside the event horizon... and similar with rapidly spinning black holes-may be able to avoid the singularity. And enter...? Another universe? A different part or time in our universe? It's all conjecture.

Well...
The black hole's gravity's center is called the singularity, where all the matter is smushed into a point smaller than an atom. The gravity is so strong that your feet would be pulled down harder than your head would be pulled down (because your feet are closer to the singularity than your head).
Therefore, if you got close enough, you would be ripped apart into atoms...
Doesn't it sound fun?

The person would from afar appear to start stretching out. He or she would start to break into two pieces, then four, then six, etc. Until he or she disappears into the black hole. From his or her perspective, nothing is really happening to him or her.

so much about black holes is still in the theoretical stage.i read somewhere that if the earth somehow went super-nova,it would collapse into a football size chunk.needless to say,you wouldnt fare much better.as for being wisked away into another dimension, nobody knows, but i expect their woudnt be much left of you when you got to the other side.

They would be smashed into a tiny dense mass. (Theoretically)
