yep! I have 3 dogs and a horse! even though the dogs are outside all the time I love them practically as much as I love my family! I have a stronger bond with my horse than I do with some of my family members so I totally feel like my pets are a part of my family!

My 2 Guinea Pigs, Campbell Russian Dwarf Hamster and my little dog (she's a Corgi) are all more like my family then my pets.
All my animals are family to me, I absolutely adore them and they are all spoiled rotten. :-) They are the Queens of the house, that is how spoiled they are. (Yes all my animals are girls. Every last one of them.)

Most definitely!!! In 40 + years of being around dogs -- ALL of my dogs have been a major part of my family. Currently, my daughter thinks of our dog as her furry sister :-)
Any pet is a blessing as they provide unconditional love and understanding.

My pets are family members. Especially since I don't have kids, my 3 boys get treated like they are my sons. I couldn't imagine life without them.

Yes I do feel that pets are family members. My kitty is referred to as my "son"....even though I do have "real" children.
