Last year at a dance competition i hurt my foot but then it healed later on. So I began to slowly ease back into dancing. For a week I had no pain at all and so Tuesday I thought that since I wasn't hurting that I could start back full force dancing but then as I was dancing I came down on my foot and it popped. I thought that I would be able to keep going but I had to stop because it hurt SO bad. I thought I had broken it because I couldn't even put pressure on it at all. I still have trouble walking on it and I've been off dancing for a REALLY long time and I don't want to have to stop. I've been seeing a physical therapist and I've been icing my foot. I also had a cortisone shot between my third and fourth metatarsals and it still hurts. It hurts on the top of my foot right below my toes and along my arch. My therapist said that it could still be hurting because the cortisone hasn't dispersed yet but I'm not sure. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!

Ice the pain, elevate the foot and put a flat magnet in your dancing shoes.
Fix 2 ice bottles(empty bottles of water in freezer) and put feet on them for 20 min.
Get a flat magnet (like the kind u put on cars, fridge) cut it to fit top of shoe or wrap it around the toe that hurts.
(dont leave magnets on over 12 hrs. or during storms.)
