Any person can wear anything they want. Alot of times maternity clothes are fairly pretty because they try to help women feel good about themselves when their bodies change from the baby. If wearing a womans top of any kind is truly who you (or the guy) is than it is fine. If you are trying to make a statement just make sure that the statement you are going to make does not offend anyone and is truly meaningful to you.

Aaa, you are funny... Yes a guy can wear maternity top- it’s not illegal or anything- but since there is plenty of cool fashion for men, why not stick to something that will look flattering on you?

If he's really fat and the top is something neutral colored (blue, yellow, green, etc) and not something directly associated with a girl's top (pink, purple, pastel colors, etc), sure why not.

You can do whatever you want, but do you want people to stare at you? It might not be the most fashionable thing to wear.
