How do you apply the line image to a t-shirt when airbrushing?

How is this done if you do not have time to freehand the image? (carbon paper)

A lot of airbrushers that do this professionally, have a 'stencil' that they can lay over the shirt, giving them just enough to sketch out the image. This is especially good for multiple shirts done using freehand airbrushing.
