The expiration date is not for the diapers themselves, it is for the Points inside the bag--for the pampers rewards program.

"Pampers Response:

I'm sorry for any confusion with an expiration date in or on our Pampers diapers and training pants bags. This is the date our new Pampers Gifts To Grow program ends. (To learn more about this new rewards offer, visit http://us.pampers.com/en_US/gtgHome.do) It doesn't mean the product expires. In fact, In general paper products do not have a specific shelf life. However, to ensure the best performance, we recommend our diapers be kept in a shaded, dry storage area where the temperature is 85 degrees or less. Extreme heat or humidity could effect their performance. Also, if diapers are more than 1.5 years old, they may change surface color, but the product's safety and performance will be as great as ever"

An experation date on diapers is about as funny as the whole hot dog to bun ratio thing. :)

For something that isn't biodegradable and is not leaving this planet for a very, very long time. I see no way for any part to expire except maybe the character on the diaper to not exist anymore. I can not come up with anything for this question.....

The only thing that could expire on a paper diaper, in my opinion, is the fragrance they put in it. The expiration helps the grocer to move the old stock to the front of the shelf and put the new stock to the back, too.

The diapers should still be ok. I'd use em. They are too expensive to throw away. I asked my ex about the expiration date cause he works in a factory that packs the diapers and wipes, he says by law it has to be there. He says there is nothing in the diaper that will "spoil". He and his boss say the diapers are safe to use. Hope this helps.

That's a new one! I would have never even thought to look for an expiration date on a bag of diapers! LOL

Use 'em. Unless you notice weird reactions with your kids, there shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, it was th code that expired, not the diapers, but I believe that they extended the program - the code might actually still be good. Go to Pampers.com and enter the code. You will get points that can earn you free stuff. Good luck

Heck, Now I know they are going crazy with expiration dates. Just because people asked for them on food now they put them on everything, just so people will buy more. Yes you can still use them, but if you have doubts call the number on the package and ask them why it has an expiration date on them.
