In my kitchen, whenever I get up & get some coffee for the morning, I find lots of cockroaches, little ones as well as big ones running around, getting into the microwaves, every possible spots they can find. How do I get rid of them?

This only happens when we go to sleep, the house's in complete silence & they start coming out. What's the best spray to use? Is there something that's non-toxic or any home remedies?

What has worked for me ,if you have small children and pets is to mix the boric acid with sugar. They go for the sugar and the boric powder sticks to their hair and gets carried back to there nest and when they groom themselves they swallow some and it dries them up.I would put the mix in jar lids and put it in places out of reach of pets and children.

Clean house, like the second answerer said. Also clean around OUTSIDE. If those nasty little things can find *any* place to hide, they will!

I remember hearing about this once a long time ago: As the story goes, some guy forgot to turn off and unplug his electric guitar. When he came home the next day, he discovered all the bugs in his home had literally crawled out of woodwork and died. Apparently, the guitar emitted very high frequency waves that was enough to kill the bugs (roaches included). So, if you know anyone you could borrow an electric guitar you could just plug it in, turn it on and leave it for a day.

Or, if you really like unusual pets, you could get some big lizards at the local pet store and leave them loose.

Despite what some people think, people with exceptionally clean kitchens can get cockroaches. I would use all of the things suggested here. The eggs hatch in 40 days, so I would do the treatment again once a month for three months.

You have to bomb the whole place , spray outside and if you live in an apartment complex need to let management know so other units can be sprayed, if not they will just hang out at neighbors house until its safe to come back.

You can either bug bomb your house with a insecticide that kills roaches or you can try a "roach hotel" that sits near pipes, or places the roaches come in and attracts them then kills them. Or you can hire a 'bug man' who comes and sprays your house once a month.
