Why are people not repentive for the things they do wrong? Why do people purposely and vindictvelly hurt others on purpose.
How come they get away with being mean while the abused have to suffer, why dont they suffer and ill or consequences for the deliberte and on purpose wrongs they have done and why dont people aplogize and say thier sorry to God and to others, they just go about thier business and propser and do well as usual.
Why do the good and loving and pure at heart get hurt the most?

Encourage...remember the Beatitudes okay, read them every day if you must.

No matter what others do or do not do...you do what is right for you from your heart and soul. And please know...some of us do...apologize..ask for forgiveness...are careful not to abuse others or intentionally hurt them.

I have said a little prayer for you to ease your heart and mind. twobe

I agree with pathfinder. They don't see that what they've done is wrong. The "good and loving, pure at heart" type people get hurt because they are very trusting and it bites them at times. Those bad situations hurt like hell, but there is always good that can come out of it. The bad things that happen can make you stronger and more determined to be the BEST person you can be. Use the bad things that people do to you as an example of what not to do to others. When bad things happen, you will be stronger in the end. I do believe that people who do bad things to others, pay in the end. I'm a firm believer in Karma or natural consequences. You may never get to actually "see" them pay for what they've done. But life has it's own natural way of providing justice.

Because we're taught, from birth, to identify and highlight the "sins" of others as a means of making ourselves feel better. And that it's OK to inflict harm on a perceived "sinner" for personal gain, which is why churches and governments are constantly scrambling for and inventing villains. If we could all just learn that it's never acceptable to hurt others for personal gain and gratification, even if we believe we've been wronged, the world would be a much better place.

It's one thing to apologize to someone you've hurt, but repenting to God is a waste of time. Look at the state of the Catholic Church and tell me honestly that you believe those folks have a clue what they're doing? Hail Mary, full of grace, my a**!

scripture explains that we supress the truth in our wickedness and that we run from the light because we love darkness and do not want our deeds to be brought into the light. the pain of confession is often worse (in our minds) than the pain of coming clean.
i love the clean feeling of being honest about my own weakness and inabilty to live life alone. I need help. I need a savior. But that is not the natural tendency. We are prideful and self sufficient and deeply ugly on the inside....although most do not believe it. To have life we must lose ours. Good question!

Repenting implies that I answer to someone other than myself. As I am true to myself in every walk of life, I find no need to ever go back and apologize.

There has been a great deal of research lately about the frontal lobe in the brain, and how injury to this area leaves the person with essentially no conscience. They simply are unable to feel empathy for another person.

Scary.

I can totally relate. I went to catholic school for 4 years and was then raised southern baptist and both are all about continually going back for forgiveness. However that is not what we need or even have to do thanks to the sacrifice that Jesus paid for us all. Once you have accepted Christ and asked for forgiveness you are forgiven. What Jesus did on the cross covered all your sins (past, present and future). What you are feeling is not from God it is just your soul (mind, emotion, will, etc..) getting in the way. He only sees in your new born again spirit which is righteous and holy. You just need to renew your mind (re-program) to what you are now as someone who is loved and liked by God. The best way to do that is to read the Word i recommend starting in reading on Ephesians. I hope this helps you rest in what you have received. God bless
