$35.00
30% of $50.00 is $15.00 Subtract that from the $50.00 and you get $35.00.
Now when you hand in that homework, I assume you will tell your teacher that you had help.

This had got to be a typo - sale price not sale prince. The answers given all do seem to be correct - I love it that you are getting math answers in the Royalty category however I suggest you double check the question.
The answer should probably be....... The sale price is $35.
If you put the sale PRINCE is $35 you make get it marked wrong!!!!!

$50 * .70 = $35.00
Whenever you want to get a percentage you multiply by the percentage minus 100. This way you get the answer in one step.
Like what is the price of something that is $10 and is on sale for 10% off. So you subtract the 10% from 100 and you 90 and then you just put a decimal in fron and then you have .90 and then multiple by $10. You get $9.

A little math trick i'll teach you.
The answer is ALWAYS some variation of the term "tree fity" (3.50), as per the Loch Ness Monster.
In this case, 35.0. Just a minor adjustment of the decimal place.
Math now has an 'easy button' for you.
