depends on if i like the answer or not. if i see an answer that is okay, and people are giving it thumbs down for no reason, i will give it a thumbs up. but if it deserves a thumbs down, i will give them one.

It depends on the question and the answer. All it depends on the comment....was it rude or distasteful? was the answerer being an @ss? yeah then I would give them a thumbs-down.
