Actually I have another idea you may like. Next time he comes home drunk and passes out, strip him naked, get a woman that you are friends with to come over and pose nude (or at least partially nude), cover them in a sheet, and take pictures, then show them to him when he wakes up. He'll think you have proof of adultery and may straighten his butt up for fear of losing you and/or paying child support and alimony. Just an idea. Let me know what you think and how it goes with whatever you do.

You may be able to find one at a medical supply store. I haven't shopped for one so I can't confirm that. They are open to the public.
My only concern with the straight jacket prank is that you make sure he doesn't die from complications such as puking from the drinking.
I imagine it will be very hard to move him around, but if you manage to get it on him and prop him up on the chair or couch without any pants on, you can take the prank a step further and he'll be telling all his drinking buddies what an awesome wife he has.

Don't know about the straight jacket but how about giving him a make over? Go to a garage sale or goodwill store and find a dress that will fit him, next time he passes out drunk disrobe him and put him in the dress and make-up his face, paint his nails too! That should provide a good laugh.

Decent prank especially if he has to pee in the middle of the night.
Other things to do:
Put his hand in a pan of warm water.
Draw on him with permanent marker when passed out.
Put shaving cream in his hand and tickle his nose.
Have fun.
By the way Steel's idea is good with posing him naked, but I would use a guy instead of a girl to really freak him out.

Probably not a good idea.
I live with a recovering aocoholic. The only thing that stopped his behavior was for me to stop enabling him. I ultimately made him decide what was important in his life. It wasn't easy & it's been a year-long battle, but he doesn't drink. He probably won't get help, but you can refuse to be a part of his life when he behaves this way. He'll either grow up or move on.

Straightjackets are expensive. Get a few pair of handcuffs or some rope or even some leather straps if you want to tie him up. Same idea except it gives you a little more flexibility in what positions you put him in. I'd get drunk so you'd tie me up!!!!

You are very clever. I wish I had thought of that a long time ago mine semms to have a lifestyle similar to yours, I have often wished for some kind of wake up call type thing to do. I thought when he cut up his bank card or credit card while on a good drunk he would stop but it didn't phase him once the mad wore off.Right back at it.

I don't know where you can get a straight jacket but you can do what my paternal grandmother did to her husband once. He came home after drinking and whoring, passed out in their bed. She sewed him up in the sheets then began beating on him with her cast iron skillet. He had one hell of a time getting OUT of there and even S h it himself trying.
