I finally got my first Brazilian a year ago and won't go back...yeah, there's some pain, especially initially...but that would be the 'cleanest' way to go (besides going permanently bare via laser treatments). It won't grow back nearly as fast as shaving would, no razor irritation, definitely less ingrown hairs...the more you do it the easier it gets as your body gets used it, the hair becomes finer, sparser as the hair shaft is damaged. To reduce some of the pain, it is advised to pop an ibuprofen about an hour before the procedure and RELAX while it's being done.

OK so this is weird, but as a woman I totally understand. They key is a sharp razor, I use Schick Extreme 3. Also, use a shave cream that lathers well and is for sensitive skin (something with aloe is good). I shave outside the shower, or I sit on the shower floor. The angle is better. Be gentle, shave slowly and carefully. Make sure you keep the razor clean, rinse is every few strokes.

you've prob got course hair like me. nothing ive tried works either. the best thing i have found is a new good razor and shaving gel that is made for that area. bikini bare makes some. but alas, still not as smooth as a baby's bottom.

For smooth with no prickly result the next day waxing is your best option, but you have to let it grow to at least 1/4 inch everytime you get it waxed. Have it professionally done if you are going to go through with it, that way it will get finished, cause if you try to do it yourself you may decide beauty is not worth the pain!
Good luck!!!!!

a good razor like Gillette and good old shaving cream that's what I've been using for years if your just starting out you might get little red bumps but they go away and after you shave enough times you don't even get them any more.

waxings the best, but theres another way with thread, not sure if ull know it.. but get a piece of thread, maybe about 35cm long. tie the ends together to make it like a circle? then you put your both hands, (like when you play that game with rope, you know the hand game thingy). Well, rap it around a couple of times and put it up and down with your fingers, it pulls the hair off.
Hope you understand that. Lol..

There's some really great shaving cream called Coochy Cream. It's wonderful stuff, I use it every time! It's great for any area of the body so I use it on my legs and underarms too!
