I just turned 25 two weeks ago. Last Wednesday I went to go see Kittie, Walls of Jericho and some local acts trying to get a break by opening up for these 2 bands. When it struck me that out of the 500-600 people there (was a club, not a stadium) I was like one of maybe 30-40 people over 21. Everyone else was 15-20. I'm I getting too old or is that just alot of people in America are usually married and/or have kids by 25 and don't have the time to go?

LOL I know how you feel. I have two young kids now 1 and 4 and I feel so old sometime when I go out. Like I'm the only one in the club with my own car and don't live with my parents LOL. But at the same time I feel to young to go to the more older crowd of a club such a jazz or blues. I don't care what anyone thinks I'm going to rock on as long as I can LOL.

At 56 I still love live music. I saw Kiss a short while back and
I saw what you are talking about. I think the real answer is that
not enough people go to see live music at all. If people do not start supporting live venues we will soon have nothing but
Synth/ DJ's/ and plastic crap.....
If you go to 2 shows a year now, go to 3. If everyone who appreciates live music would do that then music just might
survive. Times are hard friends! save the %#@& music!

Oh crap, heavily??? sounds like a "i'm afraid I won't look cool" question.... heavily??? i'm on the darn close to 40 time of my existence and generally flow to concert activities. I see human beings my age and older there (maximum at present the Deftones). in line with hazard you do no longer observe older human beings on the grounds that they are no longer on your realm of expertise? no longer attempting to psychoanalyze right here, despite the fact that it fairly is not uncommon to easily no longer observe issues, or those that are no longer correct to you and additionally you're state of techniques. I under no circumstances got here across 30 year previous women suitable, and that i recommend to the factor the place i does no longer even observe them till i replaced into nearer to 30. this is in simple terms an occasion, yet whilst your concern replaced into seeing human beings precisely or close on your age, your techniques in all hazard discounted the multiple 20 somethings, 30 somethings etc., that have been in all hazard there. flow to shows, appreciate them, and forget approximately approximately each and all of the outer edge bull crap. 18 year previous dinosaur.... this is classic.....

You're never too old for concerts!!! If you like a band, why wouldn't you want to go see them live when you have the chance? I'll be standing next to you when I'm 40, lol. If you wanna rock out, rock out...and beat up those lil' 14-year-olds, they kinda piss me off.
Music doesn't have an age limit, and if its one of your passions, why would you leave it? \m/

you cant be too old for a concert. just because most the people their are young doesnt mean going to it makes you not cool. just the younger people have the time and money to waste

age has nothing to do with it. my dad is almost 60 and he and my mom go to concerts like its their job! if you enjoy going, dont let the age of those around you stop you from it
