how does a psp get free internet service when you have to pay for any other pc

its not exactly free, it has wifi which lets you connect to an existing network. So to surf the net on a psp you must know the password for the network if its secure and if its unsecure you can just connect.

If you live in an area with an access point, try searching
for one that doesn't have a security password. One that's
almost everywhere is "linksys". That one is free.
