I have recently come home to canada from India. and my baby's sleeping and feeding schedule has completely gone for a toss. is it due to jet lag? and how long does the jetlag last? is there anything i can do to make things better for him?

The best I can suggest is to slowly start pushing your babies bed time back to the hour you want him/her in bed, it will probably take about two weeks maybe longer to get him/her back to a regular schedule.
As for jet lag, they get over it much faster than we do, they just have a harder time readjusting their clocks.

When I moved from Indiana to Washington, I had the same problem. Fortunately it was only a two hour difference.

Really about the only thing you can do is try to keep him awake through the afternoon. Then put him down at his normal schedule time. This could take a few days, but it should work.

Goodluck!
