Calm down. Don't worry it's no big deal, it will only be like this when your mate logs on, not when someone else logs on. I'm sure you wouldn't get in trouble anyway as this can easily be fixed. To make the bar smaller put your cursor at the top of thebar until you see a double black arrow, then drag it down. Make sure taskbar isn't locked. Any computer can have ''lock taskbar''

Right click on the taskbar and unlock it, then simply left click the mouse and hold the button down while cursor is on the taskbar.
Now move the mouse to drag the taskbar.
Once back where you need it release the mouse button.
If desired lock the taskbar again with a right click and select "lock the taskbar".

Well the only way is to unloack the task bar and smilply drag it to the side, then down to the bottom...

if its a school computer all settings are restored after logging off or turning off the computer, dont worry, and if it dosnt fix itself the teachers would just fix it, and they wouldnt even care...

What you do is make sure you're first on the computer and when it starts up just say.. Oh! look sir there's something wrong with the computers toolbar all innocent like, and I'll bet he just fixes it without question as you get bugs that move settings. either that or six of the best.

Well Definately you are in trouble. All you need to do is drag the taskbar to the left/right side and then drag it down and then you are done. You personal settings will be saved to that person s account he/she might wonder what happened but then no one know what happened with whom so you are not in trouble. Forget it. You 'll be fine.

na i don't think yr in trouble... just don't do it again... and i think when the person logs on their start tool bar will just have gone back down and even if it hasn't they will just tell the teacher that it's gone all funny and the teacher will fix it and they won't be able to tell that someone has fiddled with it...unless of course they have been on yahoo and read your question!!!

right click the start button and look at all the options in there, you may be able to reset the toolbar or something.. good luck! I dont think its anything too major to worry about! x
