When growing up as a child, I knew my parents had challenges raising me and my sister. There were hard times finacially when we didn't have enough money. My parents sometimes fought about these things. However, as a child you ususally aren't mature enough to understand the mental and emtional turmoil your parents go through. Having lived on my own for a few years, I have had to deal with many of these pressures and challenges, and I feel the better for it. Having to do without and having to deal with different challenges as an adult HAS indeed built character within me. When I see people with problems I am more able to feel their pain, instead of just feeling bad for them. And it also has taught me to be thankful for what I have. With so many people winding up homeless and in poverty, I feel grateful just to have a place to sleep, a job, food and clothing.

I definately think that my life experiences have made me who I am today, and have made me stronger and smarter about things. Ive had to deal with alot for my age and have learned alot. Im proud of who I am, and am proud of what my parents taught me.*

Yes, in most ways. But some of the con games going on have made me more cynical. This is bound to happen.

yes,the good and bad experiences have made me wiser and more compassionate and a giver instead of a taker
