i am fighting for a playoff spot and he is of no use injured, how can i drop him off the no cut list?

You can't dump him while he is on the Can't Cut List. If he elects the surgery Yahoo will drop him from the list and you can drop him. In the players pages of your league, check the Status Changes link frequently. Once he shows up there, dump him.
As long as his team is wishy washy about taking him off their roster, Yahoo will not change theirs. Call Miami, have Pat list him as out for the season.
Here is your killer - this kind of stuff could leave him on CCL for another 4 days:
"Wade is presently weighing his treatment options provided to him by the Heat medical staff," the team said in a statement. "Wade still needs to discuss these options with his family and Heat president and head coach Pat Riley, and will then decide what course of action to take."
Riley couldn't even talk to him on the phone, he had to send him a letter! How is he going to discuss anything with Pat.

We don't know for sure how long D-Wade is going to be out. If he elects for no surgery, the prognosis is that he's out for six-to-eight weeks at best. If he decides on surgery, then he's definitely out for the season. Either way, your going to have to wait for Yahoo! or the commisioner of the league to make the decision to drop him off the Can't Cut List because he is consider to be a valuable player this season (which might be soon). Even if he returns, D-Wade is going to be limited and his return is schedule to be during the semifinals of the Fantasy Playoffs, which might be too late if the Heat secure a playoff spot or fighting for next season. The best thing for you right now is to trade for scraps at best because D-Wade value isn't going to get higher than what it is right now.

I'd wait off some before we know something.
He's still just thinking about the season ending surgery.
But if you want to him cut, you need to email your COMMISH of your league and ask him to take Wade OFF of the "can't Cut list"
Do work.

I believe until they declare him out for the season Yahoo won't allow you to cut anyone on your do not cut list.
