A new beginning, when you dream of death it means you are putting something to rest.

Dreams about death can be interpreted in three ways; the obvious, the anxious and the symbolic. You don't provide any details, so I will have to be general. Have you experienced a death in the family or know of someone who is ill? If so, your dream may reflect this fear or belief. It may be a way for you to internalise this idea and come to terms with it. Were you watching or reading about death before you went to sleep?

Dreaming about people you love dying could be an anxious response. Are you worried you will "lose" them? Is there some threat to your relationship? Who actually died is very important. If it was you who was dying, are you worried about your health or losing some part of your life? If it was a parent, are you anxious about some big change in your life? Think about what the deceased represents to you.

Symbolically, death is not a negative concept. It tends to represent change, metamorphosis and moving on. Perhaps something in your life is coming to an end. Perhaps your dream is telling you to let something die. It really all depends on the other symbols in your dream, what happened and most of all, how you felt about it. Death can be frightening, even violent. It can also be a merciful release. Were there any symbols for the afterlife that could signify a more spiritual meaning?

Dreams are a message from our subconscious, so you need to think about what it means to you. Some dreams are meaningless, merely the result of processing our daily thoughts. Some reflect real issues that you need to come to terms with. Ultimately, you are the only one who can interpret it.

Well the book-answer would tell you that dreams that involove someone dying, probley means that you are nervous about that person...You see a dream is something made up by the Concious/Un-concious part of your mind, and basically all the dreams do is go over stuff that bothered you during the day, or week, or something that youv'e paid a lot of attention to, or had a lot of thoughts about, or something thats definatly got your eye...like an attractive co-worker....But over-all, dreams CANNOT predict the future, they dont even come close to doing so, they might help you notice something that you didnt notice before becuase as i mentioned earlier they are 50/50 on the concious/unconcious, and the concious part is what usually stops you from "guessing" about whats goin to happen in the future, And while your sleeping, your unconcious takes a stab at it, and shows you what it thinks might happen, but VERY SELDOM does it truly happen, allthough there have been proved cases where people dreamt about something, that happened later in the future, not becuase they are psychic, becuase they were able to think without their concious stopping them...Andrew (a 17 year old student....sitting in I.S.S. ( in school suspention), whom everyone thinks is stupid and never going to amount to nothing, knows alittle more then he should about the brain.....)

Generally speaking, death cannot be represented in dreams as such, as it is no psychic content to be experienced, lived.

Death is a structural transformation of the being - during the Ego development process we often undergo successive symbolic deaths and re-births: something of us is dying and another thing is emerging.

Death in dreams finally may point to a contrary meaning: birth, life, etc. In this context, this specific aspect should be considered in the interpretation of death.

I have read a bit about interpreting dreams and I can assure you that this dream tends to mean that a particular situation/phase in your life has finished and a new one is starting. Dreaming about death is nothing to worry about.

A dream about death signifies a good thing..If the person you're dreaming about is sick in real life, they'll get well soon and is on the road to recovery..They'll have a long life ahead of them..

It probably means either:
1) you've experienced a death or heard about someone's death so death has been on your mind
2) you're stressed out

It's not anything to do with death.I read somewhere that it means that something in your life is about to end or change. For example, leaving school, new job, new home, marriage, divorce etc. Whether that's true is another matter

Nothing. Don't attach undue importance to it. Worry about how to lead your life correctly NOW and understand the true "I" within the framework of the body and mind and all your worries would fade away and truth about self would be revealed.
