Check your vent pipe for obstructions and make sure its cleaned out. Turn the dryer on and go outside to where the vent exits the house or apartment and see if a lot of warm air is coming out, if not its blocked with lint and will need to be cleaned.

Make sure it is vented properly, If you got a new dryer and didn't replace the vent hose it is probably full of lint. Your dryer will get hot but there is nowhere for all that hot moist are to go. Check the VENT.

Check your vent line. Sounds like the vent may be plugged or otherwise obstructed and not allowing the warm moist air to get out of the dryer.

Call the store where you bought it. A new dryer would be under warranty.
If it is used "new" the heating element is probably out.

I've had this problem before. Check your settings. Mine didn't work because we had it on "air fluff" even though we had it turned up to 'high'. If this doesn't work, check the manuel and then call your retailer. Good luck!

Then why do you refer to it as a "dryer"?

maybe you are putting to many clothes in at once, try a smaller load if that doesn't work call the store where you bought it and maybe they can help you.
