If he really liked you he wouldn't care what anyone told him and he'd still be talking to you. Just go on with your life and worry about more important things. Later on you'll see this was nothing and it was just a crush. You'll have plenty more anyway so don't worry about it.

Well first of all, its wrong for your ex-friend (glad she's an ex, because a true friend wouldnt do this to you!) to do that. Hopefully, the boy will decide to have his OWN opinion of you and still give you a chance instead of listening to her. If he chooses to listen to her, you dont need him anyway.
