The sound doesn't work and it says that it is because it is not signed.

It's nothing to worry about. Microsoft makes money by charging companies to have their drivers digitally signed. Many companies don't get all their drivers digitally signed simply because it isn't always cost effective. It didn't matter in the past, but now MS tries to shaft them by giving warning messages when you try to install the drivers.

you can still continue to install the driver then try going to its website and download the latest driver for your sound device.

Ignore it its Microsoft's way of getting additional revenue. You should be ok .
