There was the cycle of the mineral, the rock. There was the cycle of the plant.

And now we're in the cycle of the animal...coming to the end of that and beginning the cycle of the human being. When we get into the cycle of the human being, the highest and greatest powers that we have will be released to us. They will be released from that light or soul that we carry to the mind. But right now we're coming to the end of the animal cycle and we have investigated ourselves and learned what it is to be like an animal on this earth.

At the beginning of this cycle of time, long ago, the Great Spirit came down and He made an appearance and He gathered the peoples of this earth together — they say on an island which is now beneath the water — (...continued in link)

It is very interesting how so many cultures make allusions to "islands" that sunk beanth the sea. These islands are most surely Atlantis of the Atlantic ocean and Lemuria of the Pacific Ocean. Among so called psychics and mediums, there also seems to be a consensus that sometime in the future North American coastal cities would be inundated and flooded to a point of being uninhabitable. I've also heard some dramatic predictions that 70-85% of the continental US would be flooded and one of the only safe areas would be Texas.

Given the melting of Ice caps and glaciers, and the disruption of sea currents, the flooding of coastal cities is scientifically plausible, though the extreme inundation of "70-85%" of the US is ridiculous. A rise in sea level of say half a foot would do the trick. This happens to be the projected rise in sea level should the ice caps and glaciers fully melt.

They mean absolutely nothing. If they could foresee the future, why did they let the white man con them out of so much ? It's just more folklore -- interesting to study, but just folklore.

The title of this section is "Earth Science and Geology". Your question has nothing to do with either Earth Science or Geology. I would appreciate it if you would restrain yourself from asking questions that have nothing to do with the title of this section.
