Sorry but no. Not with Phillips at the helm, look at his track record and remember "what you see is what you get" I do wish the Tuna could have made it one more time though>

I am very surprised at the choice of Phillips for coach. I don't think he has the ability to push this team further than they are now. I believe Romo is overrated and obviously TO creates lots of issues. They will have a solid running game and a decent defense so maybe they can squeak through if the division remains weak.
Why in the world did they not make Sean Payton an assistant Head Coach and gaurantee him the job when Parcells left, I will never know. They had the perfect guy waiting in the wings and Parcells who they knew would not be around long and they let Payton go. Talk about piss poor planning.

The Cowboy's need to draft and/or fill a few spots with free agency. If they work on their O-line and the pass defense they got a shot. Good recievers, running backs, we'll see about Romo, its possible they could make a run this year. NFC being a little weak doesn't hurt either.

The Cowboys have all the tools nessicary to become one of the better teams in the NFL
They have a young probowl caliber quaterback (Tony Romo)
they have a over advertised but very talented recevier (Terrel Owens)
And two good running backs (Jones and Barber)
their Defence isnt great but with work it could be better
So they do have a chance
a very decent one

I'm a huge Dallas Cowboys Fan. I think that they will go to the superbowl next season or the season after that.

they might go to the playoffs as a wildcard but won't go very far. they definently won't be going to the super bowl that's for sure. plus next year tony romo will be put to the test. to see if he's the real deal or a flash in the pan.
