Wii remotes?
Really, it works right out of the box. I would recommend getting 3 more Wii Remotes and Nunchuks. It's worth it, if you can find them.
As for the games, it all depends on what you want to do with it. Party games like Wii Sports are great for multiplayer. Wii Play just came out and comes with a Wii remote for free.

For multiplayer you can play some of the games with one 'wiimote' and one 'nunchuck' ..(golf for example), but for many games you need at least two 'wiimotes' - for boxing you'd need two 'nunchucks' too!
So that is the only thing I would suggest if you plan to play two player games....
