There are big insentives at the moment for foreigners to work here on visa's- not sure about study as well. Have you spoken to your university about a exchange program? I know alot of people from other countries do that option to study here and then get a job once they are here.

G'day,

What sort of study are you interested in? Master degree? What area?

I have a feeling that your degree may not enable you to study direct to the Master degree, as it may not be equivalent to Australian Bachelor Degree level. However the only way to find out is to apply to the uni itself and they can determine whether or not you are suitable for the course.

Please be advised that as an international student in Australia, you can only work for a max 20hrs/week during study period and full-time only during holiday period. Therefore you cannot rely on work in Australia to support you.

Hope this helps. Good luck on your study and welcome to Australia.
