How many hours would you say is acceptable? is it ok so long as people have other hobbies outside tv? Is tv in any way useful/beneficial to our lives?

Thanks for previous responses xx

I know I watch to much tv. The thing is that while I do many other things its nice to get lost for an hour in someone eases life. I love to read, but this I can do with other people and it's just fun to yell or laugh out loud or cry at the tv when some thing great or terrible happens and have someone right there with you to have the same or completely opposite reaction to what you are watching. So while we watch to much tv and there is a point were it become ridiculous the thing is how do you stop when there are new and better things to watch and even sometimes learn from on tv.

by the term we i believe you mean everyone, if so then yes.
i personally don't watch a lot of TV maybe 2 hours a day if i am lucky.
this is what makes England 'fat' according to the news England is the fattest in Europe. this is because we sit around on our **** all day watching TV.
I'm speaking about the ones that don't go to work because they can't be arsed. not the people that work long hours or are ill.
but anyway yeah overall 'we' watch too much TV.

Yes we do, and spend too much time on here also.
We were happier and healthier when no one had TV. It is a great invention but too much stops all normal interaction between people. I love power cuts, no electric no TV, time to talk, relax, make your own entertainment its great !!
