Why are they talking about Kobe and (Kidd or Bibby) passing the ball to one another soon? Does that mean there going to play on the same team?

Kidd was roumered to be traded to the Lakers...but all that is in the past now since the trade deadline has passed.

Well because the Lakers initially wanted to make a trade to get a fine point guard to play alongside Kobe and the slumping Lakers, the point guard in mind - Bibby. Bibby has had an off season but the Lakers were not ready to give up Andrew Bynum for Mike Bibby.
