Eyeliner on bottom eye?

Question

I can do my eyeliner on the top eye but not on the bottom. I want to be able to do it so it doesn't look weird but how do i do it? I use wet eyeliner and pencil so please help. Thanks

it's the sort of thing, that like any makeup application, just takes a little practice. you might want to practice at night, before washing your face for bed, until you get it right. some people actually put eyeliner on the INNER rim of they eye. this is not usually a good idea. it's best to put the eyeliner under the bottom eyelashes, so it's actually outside of the eye. it's sometimes helpful to use a finger of the opposite hand to pull the skin a little taught as you apply with the other hand holding the eyeliner. it's also a good idea to experiment with how far from the outside corner to the inside corner you are going to draw your line. some people only apply it to about the middle of the eye. see what looks good on you. it's also better, i think, for the bottom to use a thinner rather than thicker line.

Here are some god tips, I have been a Makeup artist for 17 years not to mention I just opened my own Dayspa. Start pracicing with Pencil. What Type are you using? A good liner look into Sorme'. and purshase a eyeliner brush. It's slanted. Practice from the center ( bottom) Use the side of the pencil and glide in little but steady strokes. ( does not have to be one swoop) make sure it's sharp. Then Take the brush over it for staying power as well as blending. look at Sorme.com GOOD LUCK

Are you trying to put eyeliner on the bottom inside or outside? If it is on the outside bottom, make sure it is light and smudged but make sure it doesnt look like your mascara is running. I recommend to use the pencil lightly and use a white or cream colored eyeliner pencil on the inside bottom of the eye. It opens up your eyes and looks really pretty especially if you wear darker eye colors that can make your eyes look smaller.

I usually just do mascara on bottom, but when I use liner on bottom I use pencil and brush it into the lashes and onto the edge of my eye. BUT I don't go across the whole length of the bottom I go a bit darker on the outside edges and lighten it up as I get closer to the middle and barely have any closer to the inner eye. Liner all over the eye is a bit much for me and is for more of a dramaitc effect, but if that's what your going for......

I use a pencil. I cant do it on top, but always do it on bottom. I ususally do it as close to my eye lashes as I can get. Right under my eyelashes. When you use black, also use black mascara...it looks HOT! Use a thin line under your bottom lash, then slap some thick mascara on. It looks HOT! I think it makes my eyes look more open and wide. I also occasionally, like when I go out, put a small line about a third of the way across my top lash. It makes my makeup stand out more and look more dramatic! Good luck!!

well with a pencil its easier for me
just pull down the bottom part of your eye lightly and the apply the eyeliner just above the your lashes or just use mascara on the bottom i think its easier

use a khol pencil and pull the eye downwards slightly and just rub along the white bit it is really effective even though I use wet at the top the pencil at the bottom looks fine

other way round for me lol.
but eyeliner looks nice if you only put it on the top...
it can make your eyes look bigger.
but it helps to do under the eyes with pencil and then put a line of liquid eyeliner along the rim your eyelashes and then smear the pencil :D

I'M OPPOSITE. AS MUCH AS I TRY I CAN'T DO MY EYELINER ON THE TOP LID. ON THE BOTTOM SOME PEOPLE PUT THEIR LINER UNDER THEIR LASHES BUT I PUT MINE ON THE LEDGE ABOVE THE LASHES. I ALSO USE PENCIL. I TRIED LIQUID AND I MADE A MESS.

Do a litte bit on the bottom and smear it around with eyeshadow...thats what I do and I get asked all the time on how I do it....Plus I put eyeliner in the inside of my eye....
