I have a 96' Ford Thunderbird, and I can't lock the doors without the car alarm going off. I've tried using the door panel instead of the key chain, and it still doesn't work. Is there a way to turn off the alarm completely and just use the door locks??

Check and see where your main alarm system is set up and there should be a small finger tip type knob around there.... That's to adjust the sensitivity, Turn it to where you would be satisfied on how sensitive you want it to be. The only thing is you would have to kinda play with it for a bit, you know close doors, turn on and off, To get to where you want it to be.
