Yes you can mix it with formula. I use breast milk, juice, and baby food to give my 6 month old daughter different flavors. I'm not sure why the box states water, but talk with your pediatrician, because mine suggested the different things, so she learns to eat more things and develop a more diverse diet. Now is a good time to start, because a baby does not know what things are supposed to taste like and you can actually teach them good eating habits now, by doing this, just be careful not to give her something she is not ready for and always wait a few days before giving her something new, that was if she get a rash or diarrhea you know what caused it. Good luck with you baby and have lots of fun with her.

At four to six months, breast milk or formula is the only food that your baby needs, but you can still begin to familiarize your baby with the feel of a spoon and begin to introduce solid foods. Iron-fortified rice cereal is the least allergenic type of solid food and is recommended as the first that should be introduced. You can mix I tablespoon of rice cereal with breast milk, formula, or water and feed it to the baby with a spoon (not a bottle). Offer cereal two to three times per day.

Yes I'd recommend you mix with formula. It won't change anything about the cereal and the baby will eat it better. I'm mom to 3 and only ever used formula with the cereal.

I would advice you to not to it right now. Ur baby is only 4 months old. U can give it after 6 months. Till 6 months either mothers milk or formula milk only.

Hi, If it is the baby packets of rice cereal then yeah it's fine i.v mixed it with formula milk for my first two kids, who are now 10 & 3yrs, and i.v mixed it with breastmilk for my 3rd child who is 10mths now. So long as you mix it to a really smooth consistency as she is still young and I presume just starting to wean it.ll be fine. Just remember to mix it in a bowl & not to mix it with the formula milk in her bottle in case she chokes. Good luck honey enjoy weaning your daughter it.s a whole new fun time starting for you both.

You sure can. I don't know where your from, but the boxes where I'm from say you can mix with water, breastmilk or formula. I've mixed it with juice even. (my children were a bit older)

Yes. That or some expressed breast milk.

As one of the others stated, however, do not mix it with juice. My baby's doctor told me to avoid juice as they are empty calories and contain added sugar, not something I want my child to start up with at such a young age!

A new study says to wait until six months before you introduce anything besides formula or breast milk. If you can, seriously try...wait! It will minimize allergies etc. Feeding your first baby (if this is your first) seems to get rushed because so many people tell you to introduce solids. But really, wait.... as to the answer...yes it is ok to mix it with formula, water or breast milk.
good luck and God bless you and yours.
