i don't carry cash hardly at all anymore and when co workers ask for some change i never have any, which is a good thing. i just carry my check card and that way i avoid the vending machines too.

I always have cash and change on me. The credit card is for my business and large purchases only so I can accumulate miles on my card for free trips.
