I have found that white vinegar works really well. After it is clean, I put a light film of mineral oil (or something similar) to keep the crusties off.

Easy Off - BAM in the grocery stores
or
Mr. Clean Magic erasers work well.
Also, I squeegee the shower doors after each use and it really helps in keeping the hard water stains from building up. (It takes a few seconds and the entire household can be trained to spend the extra sec.)

If you need to keep the inside of your shower glass door clean(or enclosure, I use this on my whole glass enclosure) Keep a sponge inside and use your hair shampoo, and wash it while you are showering, then rinse it off, it keeps the inside looking nice.
The outside I have tried windex. magic eraser, it is a constant struggle

I use fabric softener sheets. I wet them and scrub the doors with them. Then rinse and dry.

that really depends on what kind of stains you have, or if it's just water marks... dampen a cloth with water and put comet on it, then scrub it in, it WILL NOT SCRATCH IT... then just rinse...
