I'm an Old Guy soooo...
I got a 45 minute ride in an F-104 Starfighter in 1964. Was with the 1st Bde. 101st Airborne in Vietnam 1967-68. Married my great Wife 1968. Earned a Green Beret in 1969, and since 1962, jumped out of a bunch of aircraft just to name a few. Life has been one Hell of a ride and it ain't over yet. However, it's slowed down some..

Without sounding too egotistical, I've been quite fortunate in doing quite a bit. One of the few things that I'm very proud of is visiting 6 of the 7 continents. I'm an American who has visited all the major cities in the US. I've also been through most of Western Europe, visited Australia diving at the Great Barrier Reef and climbing Ayers Rock, gone to South America climbed Machu Pichu, being amazed by Iguazu Falls and Hang Gliding atop Brazil, did a Safari in South Africa and bugee jumped in Zimbabwe along with an rafting the Zambezi River and Elephant Safari, Climbed the Great Wall of China, Sand Boarded in Dubai and visited the last remaining 7 Wonders of the World (The Pyramids) and my last trip took me to New Zealand where I did a 1000 foot Cliff dive strapped to a chair. So much more to do with so little time!

Nearly died and got really disappointed when I didn't see
a tunnel and a light
any dead relatives coming to meet me
A bloke in a robe with a halo
A red bloke with horns and a pitchfork
In fact i saw b***er all and decided I wouldn't die after all. Maybe that was the thing I was supposed to see. Anyway I didn't die obviously and then vowed to marry my true love travel the world and celebrate life everyday. Needless to say I didn't marry her , didn't travel and now work 5 days a week am married to another true love have 2 wonderful children so maybe this is the most interesting thing I have done.

When I was in the army in the fifties I was based in Hong Kong. One morning after a rather boozy night with some seamen I woke up on board a cargo ship bound for Shanghai. Now at that time we did not have very friendly relations with China and I had no ID documents. It turned out OK, I went back to port on the pilot's boat, thus avoiding a court martial or imprisonment in China or worse.

Wow some of these answers are amazing! I wish my life were as interesting as some of yours! One of my best experiences was being in New York at Christmas, it took my breath away. I have snorkelled with turtles in The Great Barrier Reef and Kenya. The best thing was falling in love with my soul mate and having the most romantic, intense, passionate, life changing time of my life. And having the balls to remember that time with happiness now he is no longer in my life and get on with it!
