did anybody here about the kfc in new york city that was infested with rats, etc?

I seen the video and was disgusted!
The fast food restaurant had many health violation (not including the rats) that was kept secret for a good amount of time.
The news reporters don't know who owned the restaurant, so "we" won't find who owned the place into tomorrow.
If the restaurant ever opens up again, I'd advice you to stay away from that restaurant for your own safety

It's NYC, we have rats everywhere. Actually if you were to tear down one of the best apartment buildings in the city you would find rats, so not a surprise. Just a part of NYC, just that most people are able to keep the population of rats down. This is KFC you are talking about, not the best of restaurants, but I have found cockroach's everywhere.
