Gilmore Girls has a costume person and that lady is responsible for shopping for clothes the characters wear. She uses a lot of funky vintage and designer pieces for the show. If you want to know about a specific piece then you can try a Gilmore Girls message board and someone is bound to know. Or else you may contact the show's production company and try to get in contact with the costume department and they may be able to help you out with locations to find some clothes. But not, the Gilmore Girls do not have a clothing line that you can just pick up at the store.

No, they are not in the textile industry. Rory is a student at Yale University. Lorelai is the owner of the Dragonfly Inn. Emily is a housewife. I don't believe that they have ever owned textiles, but with all the companies Emily and Richard own, perhaps textiles are one of them. Of course this is a fictional series, and they are not going to be available in real life anyway.
Any cloth you see on the show is manufactured by a real textile company and then made into objects for the show.
