Hi,
once somones estate has been "Granted" probate, how long do you have to state a claim in the uk?

If there are no hassles and the person or solicitors granted probate haven't got a "beef" with you then the process can be as quick as 8 weeks from start to finish. If you have a claim then you have to get it known to whoever is granted probate asap. If you have a problem with the person with probate then you need your own solicitor.
