How can I put my grafics on My letters?

Have a lot of grafics icons on desk top but don't know how to add them to my letters can you help?.

Use GIF editors, so you can edit the letters..We store graphics stuffs with .gif extn..lot of gif animation softwares are available.

What program are you using?
and if word, did you want something like a pciture in the background of the writing or like a logo next to the address and such at top?
worse thing is if i knew where my book from my microsoft office class was it would be so much easier, i could just read it out of there, but know now i will have to experiment myself and figure it out again
