Hey,
Does opening your eyes in a pool hurt your eyes? Because everytime in in a pool I normally open my eyes underwater (mostly in my uncles pool though which has no chlorine but instead a salk solution to clean teh water). I also wear glasses so I was woundering if maybe the water had a part in it.

I have 20/20 vision and I have been opening my eyes in water since I was a kid. I don't think it hurts them, since your eyes are naturally moist anyway, and crying doesn't hurt you eyes.

Other than making them a little bit red there isn't anything to worry about I don't think.

There are not any long term era undesirable outcomes on your eyes. Your eyes would be pink and burn slightly once you get out of the pool. in case you like to be sure underwater, i might recommend making an investment in a pair of goggles. you could usually discover low priced ones for around $3 - $5. For basically fooling around those would be superb. while you're lap swimming, i might recommend paying the better cost and getting a sturdy call variety including Speedo or Tyr.

When I open my eyes under water they burn a little because of the chlorine in the water, but I've never heard of anyone having their eyes damaged and requiring glasses or contacts because they opened their eyes under water.

I don't think so. I never use goggles while swimming underwater. Only wear them in competition meets and practice. I see perfect. 20/20
