Anybody know anything about this machine, please? Or where I can find a decent (unbiased) review?

yes, for what you pay, it's great.

However because the price is so low, you will have problems with the reliabilty of the machine ( this is the 2nd verison they have now done )

it's not mulit format.

nor is it an upscaler ( hdmi output )

but for less then £200 is good, but there are many better machines, with names that you can be sure of, for a little more
