I don't want to spend a lot of money. I was thinking about something like going to a movie or to Pike's Place Market. My birthdays are very special to me and I don't know what I should do this year since my husband didn't come up with something like he usually does. My birthday is tomorrow...Help!

Belltown. It's the happening place for people your age. There's great restaurants and clubs. Check out this website. If this isn't of interest, I suggest you make a reservation at the Salish Lodge. See Website below. Get a room for the night and dinner/breakfast in the morning. You can really splurge and make reservations for a spa treatment. It's heavenly and it will do wonders for your marriage. Try the rock massage. Incredible. Short drive from Seattle.

Have you ever been to the restaurant Joey's? If you haven't, it sits on Lake Union by Hooters. It is a great restaurant that wasn't too overpriced. (There is a menu out front that you can check out before committing to a table) The food and service was great. For example, I ordered a medium rare steak and received a medium well, which is waaaay too cooked for me. Anyways, my meal was free. The drinks were also really good. I am thinking of traveling from the east side of the state to go to Joey's for my 23 in May.
But maybe your husband does have a surprise for you. So you may not want to doubt him just yet.

I'm from Connecticut. When I was out there several years ago we went to the market (loved the fish throwing guys!) and then to the Spaghetti Factory. Is it still there? We had a great meal and the price was very, very reasonable. [cheap!] HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
