They're definitely overrated. Only UCLA has a decent chance of getting out of the first weekend in the NCAA tournament.

I am not a Pac-Ten team but here is my defense.
One of the problems the Pac-10 has is perception. Since most of their big matchups are played late at night, Eastern fans don't get to see many of their games. Oregon, UCLA, and Arizona have all spent period in the top ten this year and can compete with anyone outside the country- the North Carolina debacle notwithstanding. When you consider that the Washington States, Stanfords, and Washingtons are giving these three a run for their money, you can see why some people think the Pac-10 has some quality. Love them or loathe them, UCLA is a serious title contender, and one or two of the rest probably go to the Sweet 16

No. The news only really talks about UCLA and Arizona. The rest of the Pac-10 doesn't get any love. In my opinion they are just tossed to the side. No one really thinks that the Pac-10 will be any good when it comes to the big tourney.

#2-UCLA they only give up 60 points a game, are 11-1 out of conference losing thier only game to West Virginia when Darren Colllison was injured and they are 8-1 vs the top 25. They deserve to be where they are.
#11-Washington State is 22-5, 3-3 vs. top 25 teams, 11-1 out of conference. Now 4 of the 5 losses are to Pac10 teams and of the four, 3 were to ranked teams. They deserve to be where they are.
#23-Oregon is 21-7, 5-1 vs top 25 teams, 2 of the 5 wins were against top 10 teams, 2 of their losses have been to ranked teams and Ill throw Stanford in there becuase they are arugably the best non-ranked team in the country and all of their losses have come at the hands of Pac10 teams. Can't argue that either.
Arizona is not ranked but they have an argument that they should be. They are only 3-6 vs top 25 teams, but they have played 9 top 25 teams!!!Of the 9, 6 were Pac10 teams. They have 7 conference losses but six of them were to ranked teams and one that is currently ranked but was not when they played. They have an argument.
Stanford is 17-9, 6-2 out of conference, 4-3 vs the top 25 and all of them were PAC10 teams.
USC is 20-8!!! They are 11-2 out of confernce, 5-3 vs. top 25 teams with a win over a top 10 team and guess what??? All three were to PAC10 teams plus Stanford.
The PAC10 is tough this year. There only losses for the most part are to other PAC10 teams. I think they get 6 come selection Sunday (UCLA, Oregon, Washington State, USC, Stanford and Arizona).
Im not a fan dude, but it is what it is. I hope this helps.

UCLA,WSU,and USC are three pretty solid teams. Every single PAC 10 team had a five hundred out of confrence record. Wow Unc beat Arizona, let's see them against UCLA that would be more evenly matched up.

Same thing in football. The pac 10 is top heavy so they beat up on the other week teams and then when they have to go to play against a team from the ACC (SEC in football) they get the breaks beat off them.
