Why? Just go get some monistat from the pharmacy. They have 1 day treatments. Call your general practitioner and have them phone in a perscription for diflucan. You're way over-reacting to a super trivial problem. The only time you need to even go to a doctor, unless you haven't established a general pratitioner, is if OTC treatments aren't working or he asks you to come in before calling in diflucan.

I wouldn't be waiting until Tuesday. If this is just a regular yeast infection then you can treat it alone. Go to the store and get you some Monistat. I had one a few years back and this worked just fine. You will be in such agony waiting that long. You need to treat the infection as soon as you can. It's very treatable at home, and it will clear up in no time. If you go to the emergency room they will treat it for you, but they will also tell you to save yourself the time and money next time by going to the drugstore and treating it with all the available products they have. You will save less time and money by treating it this way. Trust me sweetie we know how you feel, however you can take care of this on your own. If you have tried everything to no avail then you should call it an emergency.

You can, not sure if insurance will cover it or not tho. But if it's a regular yeast infection you can buy medicine for it over the counter now, no need for a dr. unless you have complications other than itching and burning you might want to.

The emergency room may not call that an emergency

depends on how much money you have to waste. some clinics have urgent care, no appointments and charge less. You see the dr or clinician that is available, sometimes better than your regular doctor. They don't know you, but they just want to do the best job they can.

Why don't you try going to one of the walk in clinics, even most small towns have at least one of these.
