Start with the inside and work your way out. Do nice things for other people. Start a coat donation for the homeless, volunteer at your local pet shelter, smile at someone that looks like they are having a bad day. Work at it one day at a time. Don't let ANYONE put you down or make you feel bad. Surround yourself by good people that make you feel good. Look in the mirror everyday and say "I LOVE ME"! It helps!

do what I do, look at everyone else, theres NO WAY you can be as bad as some of them, theres ALOT of people who have it way worse than you. and if you are smart enough to know that you have self esteem problems, then you are smart enough to fix them.

the best way to start, is to figure out WHY you have a low self esteem, is it social issues, physical issues, etc. and then WORK ON THEM.

you cant solve a problem by just knowing its there, you can always change the way you look, and the way you act.

it takes time, and will power, but you can change. and it may be as simple as just looking at things differently

you may also need to realize that your friends are not right, (probably a good 80% of the time.) because society has created false norms, and they are most likely trying to fit into those norms.

a better life can be as easy as looking at the world in a new light, taking it in from a different perspective.

hope that helps.

Try joining community groups and other groups. Go out and meet people with similar interests. And the old cliche is true. Love yourself. Find your uniqueness and go for it. And remember, everyone feels down about themselves at some point. So, you're not alone.

You can be sad as long as needed, as far as self e-steem, try to think of what your good at, another great way that may help, is go volunteer and help out disabled people, or the elderly at a nursing home, their warm smiles, helped me when I was down.

Think about what you have that others do not. I have low points too, I think we all do, then I think about all I have to be grateful for and that picks me up. It is what I call a self kick in the butt.

Do something good for someone you don't even know. Compliment an elderly person on their fashion sense. when you see a teenager about to do the stupid thing, politely point out to them that someone cares about them. Just do something, anything.

well i heard that if you look in the mirror everyday and find somthing you like about yourself it works, and always say you are beautiful and dont listen to what others think of you. but remember you gotta do that mirror thing everyday, and sooner or later you will love yourself.

I believe you should start by naming different things that you like about yourself and don't think about what you dont like. Try treating yourself with something good that you like doing and would make you feel good everyday.
