Think of time and events like a set of dominos. If one falls, it will knock over the next one, then the next one and so on. Sometimes an unfortunate event can trigger subsequent unfortuante events, leading to a period that seems like your just having bad fortune all the time. But here is a bit of advice- don't worry, just prepare for the worst.
